About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Estimator to join our team at Ed Zueblin AG - UK Branch. As an Assistant Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting our estimating team to produce accurate and competitive bids for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of tender project details, including documentation and cost information.
  • Support the estimating team in producing cost estimations using specialized software.
  • Review tender documents and identify geotechnical disciplines and associated scope of works.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and gather information for project estimates.
  • Collaborate with the team to review ITT Technical & Commercial documentation.
  • Calculate and estimate the expected cost of construction for given projects.
  • Assist in forecasting project timelines and producing tender programmes.
  • Work effectively as a member of the team to achieve project goals.

Requirements

  • A relevant entry-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Geology, or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in the construction industry.
