Responsibilities:

* Oversee and carry out bookkeeping and data processing using accounting systems
* Manage purchase ledger, sales ledger, and nominal ledgers
* Calculate and process monthly journals for prepayment, accruals, depreciation, payroll, and other monthly adjustments
* Prepare VAT returns in advance of deadline for review and sign off
* Complete monthly/quarterly reporting pack including P&L, B/S, budgets, and actual, debtors/creditors aging analysis, cashflow, and commentary

Requirements:

* ACA or ACCA Qualified
* Experience of reviewing management accounts and complex bookkeeping assignments
* Ability to supervise a small team
* Preferably have working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
* Experience of onboarding new clients including preparing proposals and providing training
* Ideally have strong knowledge of the range of cloud accounting software and associated Apps
