About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled coach to lead our swimming team, with a strong background in developing high-performance athletes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Job Summary:

The Head Swim Coach will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our coaching and competition pathway. This includes attendance at relevant swim competitions and maintaining relationships with key partners.

  • Establishing a high-performance culture that aligns with our values and promotes positive coaching behaviors.
  • Leading the coaching programme for Performance Squads and supporting Artistic Swimming Teams.
  • Maintaining relationships with partners, including Scottish Swimming and sportscotland.
  • Contributing to the delivery of the Scottish Swimming national programme.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coaching swimmers at venues across Falkirk and surrounding areas, with regular travel to other venues in Scotland and the UK.
  • Attending annual swim camps, including overseas locations.
  • Working weekends, evenings, and early mornings as per the training programme and competition schedule.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in coaching and developing swimmers within a structured performance development pathway.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop athletes to international level.
  • Positive role model for the coaching community, with the ability to work closely with Scottish Swimming.
Salary:

£70,000 - £90,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Location:

Falkirk and surrounding areas.
