About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Support Specialist to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with their daily needs, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accompany clients to appointments and social events, providing companionship and support.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as preparing meals, shopping, and light housework.
  • Provide medication reminders and assist with personal care, such as bathing and dressing.
  • Support clients with mobility issues, assisting them with getting in and out of bed and with transfers.
  • Engage in activities that promote mental and physical stimulation, such as reading, puzzles, and exercise.

Requirements

  • No experience necessary, as we provide comprehensive training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a flexible approach to scheduling.
