About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at SweetTree Home Care Services. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients with acquired brain injuries and long-term neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Providing personal care and support to clients in their homes
  • Accompanying clients to community activities and appointments
  • Administering medication and maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 months experience working with clients with brain injuries (desirable)
  • Ability to provide one-on-one support and promote independence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to client safety and well-being
  • Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills
