About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Care Assistant to join our team at Ashlands Manor Care Centre. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred care to residents, supporting them to enjoy a good quality of life.
  • Assist residents with their daily needs, including personal care and medication management.
  • Contribute to the efficient and effective running of the care home, working collaboratively with the team to achieve our goals.
  • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults in our care.
Requirements
  • Experience in a care environment, preferably at Care Assistant level.
  • Care Certificate or equivalent, or a willingness to achieve this within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Good knowledge of care practices, particularly in relation to the care of older people.
  • Ability to work in a team and demonstrate self-motivation and confidence.
