The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the ecology team, focusing on protected species surveys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting protected species surveys
  • Preparing tenders and formulating detailed fee quotations
  • Generating technical documentation (including PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, Habitat Management Plans, BREEAM reports, HRAs, and EcIAs) with guidance from senior ecologists
  • Overseeing medium to large-scale projects while monitoring financial progress

Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • A degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related discipline
  • Possession of at least one protected species license (preferred)
  • A valid UK driving license
  • In-depth knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and its practical application
  • Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management membership is preferred

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £30,000, based on experience
