We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Management Specialist to join our team at Robertson Group. Based in Hull, this role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 per annum.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our school sites, working closely with caretaking staff to ensure all areas are clean, safe, and secure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To effectively train and deploy site staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • To develop and implement an annual planned preventative maintenance programme, outlining priorities for maintenance and development of the site.
  • To monitor plant and equipment, ensuring maximum efficiency and implementing minor refurbishments as needed.
  • To supervise contractors and ensure all work meets acceptable standards.
  • To maintain accurate records of site inventory and performance management of the site team.
  • To ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication skills, experience in managing subcontractors, and a strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
