Family Wellbeing Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Child and Family Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team at HCRG Care Group. The successful candidate will work closely with Health Visitors and nurses to deliver high-quality care to children and families.
Main Responsibilities- Support Health Visitors in delivering the Healthy Child Programme (0-5) and achieving positive outcomes for children and families.
- Facilitate local healthy family drop-ins and provide guidance and support to parents and carers.
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate virtual health promotion sessions, promoting healthy discussions with groups of parents and carers.
- Conduct Ages and Stages 27-month reviews incorporating the Early Language Identification Measure tool.
- Deliver evidence-based specific "Support bundles" to families under the direction of the Health Visitor.
- Collaborate with Health Visitors in identifying and assessing development and growth.
- Support the identification of vulnerable children and children in need of safeguarding.
- NNEB or Diplomas in Childcare & Education (DCE) awarded by CACHE or HNC in Childcare & Education (Scotland) / Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Early Years (DEXCEL).
- A sound understanding of child development, parenting, and the ability to apply behavioural programmes.
