Purchasing Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the accounts office, you will play a crucial role in supporting key departments including production, sales, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and process orders for materials and consumables, ensuring timely and accurate procurement.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure effective communication and the smooth flow of orders.
- Ensure all procurement data is accurate and orders are authorized in line with company procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the accounts team and other departments as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years of experience in purchasing administration, ideally within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience supporting accounts teams with procurement processes.
- Excellent administration and organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with both suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficiency with Office 365 and related software.
- Competitive salary: £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.
- Monday-Thursday 8:15 am - 4:30 pm, with a 4:00 pm finish on Fridays.
- 33 days of holiday (including bank holidays), pro-rata.
