About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Pastoral and Support Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners and contribute to the growth and development of our school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To actively promote a culture of inclusivity and respect, ensuring that all students feel valued and supported.
  • To maintain a high level of awareness of and commitment to our school's policies and procedures, including health and safety, equal opportunities, and diversity.
  • To work closely with colleagues to achieve school improvement objectives and targets, and to participate in employee development schemes and performance management.
  • To provide effective cover and support for teachers and students, ensuring that lessons are delivered to a high standard and that students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of pastoral and curricular systems, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that students receive a high-quality education.

About the School:

Our school is a mixed primary/secondary school with a supportive team and department. We have a collaborative approach to planning, delivery, and assessment, and our behaviour is well-managed with students valuing their education. We provide pastoral responsibilities to staff and a range of CPD sessions.

Requirements:

  • Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box.
  • Have previous experience with providing cover in a variety of subjects.
  • Be a team player who puts the success of all learners at the heart of all they do.
  • Have excellent subject knowledge.
