About UKEMS

UK Event Medical Services (UKEMS) is a leading provider of independent ambulance services and healthcare logistics. With 6 UK bases, we offer a wide range of services including non-emergency patient transport, high dependency patient transfers, and secure patient transport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive ambulances and specialist vehicles to transport patients safely and efficiently.
  • Provide reassurance, comfort, and support to patients during their journey.
  • Undertake risk assessments for patients and vehicles to ensure a safe environment.
  • Utilise mechanical and manual handling skills to safely move patients and operate equipment such as tail lifts and wheelchair clamping systems.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £11.44 per hour, paid at an hourly rate. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package including a company pension scheme and a Blue Light Card offering discounts on various products and services.

Requirements

No formal qualifications are necessary, as training is provided. However, a full clean driving licence is required. We also offer comprehensive induction and ongoing training to help you develop your skills and progress in your career.
