Job Purpose:The successful candidate will provide expert health, safety, and sustainability advice to our advisors, managers, staff, contractors, and clients. You will work closely with our management team to set realistic goals, advise on priorities, and monitor performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide health, safety, and sustainability advice to our teams and stakeholders.
- Enhance our safety relationship with clients to maintain primary electrical infrastructure across the business.
- Monitor compliance with SHE procedures, legal, and moral obligations.
- Collaborate with our management team to set realistic goals and advise on priorities.
- Assist in developing SHE training and communication materials.
- Hold, or work towards, a NEBOSH Certificate.
- Hold, or work towards, an IOSH in Managing Your Environmental Responsibilities.
- Have multiple work experience covering the main activities undertaken by staff and contractors working in our Directorate.
- Flexible in your approach to work and able to prioritize as directed.
- Have experience undertaking safety inspections or audits.
- Can demonstrate experience as a team player.
You will work across various areas of our business, including Heathrow Airport, Gatwick Airport, Stansted Airport, London City Airport, Luton Airport, and High Speed 1 (HS1). You will also advise our business sectors to achieve coordinated Health, Safety, and Environmental improvements.
