About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at the National Autistic Society. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals with autism, helping them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to individuals with autism, promoting independence and personal growth.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each individual.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting a sense of community and belonging among individuals supported.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals and their families.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of individuals supported.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle (essential for some roles).
  • Enhanced DBS check (desirable).
