We currently seek a diligent and resourceful individual to join our small Quality/Compliance management team based at our head office and manufacturing centre near Ashford, Kent.

Job Overview

">

This role involves working closely with the Quality/Compliance Manager in various quality, environmental, and business improvement tasks and projects. Key responsibilities include:

">
  1. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements through ongoing monitoring and implementation.
  2. Collaborating with the Quality/Compliance Manager and operational departments to maintain robust company processes and procedures.
  3. Scheduling training and refresher training for employees, updating the training matrix, and maintaining relevant records.
  4. Compiling environmental data to support management systems, including EPR, PRTR, and RHI, and reporting this information to regulators as required.
  5. Providing assistance in continuous improvement projects, such as product development and testing, attaining new standards, and securing product certifications.
  6. Familiarity with Quality Management Systems is highly beneficial.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel, is essential.
  8. The ability to comprehend and interpret technical drawings, along with experience using Autocad, would be advantageous but not mandatory.

Qualifications & Training

  1. A Degree or Diploma in an Engineering discipline like Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering would be highly advantageous.
  2. Extensive training and a broad range of business-wide experience will be provided.

Additional Information

Please note that due to the remote location, own transport is required. We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 per year, along with various benefits, including a company pension, free parking, on-site parking, and private medical insurance.

This role is a full-time position with standard working hours from Monday to Friday (8:00 am - 5:30 pm) with a one-hour lunch break.
