About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our client's restaurant and bar operation in the City of London. As a Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the bar team and ensuring exceptional customer service and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the bar team to deliver high-quality service and meet sales targets
  • Develop and implement effective bar operations and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and control bar stock, inventory, and cash handling to minimize losses and optimize profits
  • Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Identify and develop opportunities for menu development and drink knowledge
  • Proactively address customer complaints and concerns to maintain a positive reputation

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a high-end bar or restaurant environment
  • Strong knowledge of drinks and menu development
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Proactive, flexible, and adaptable with a keen eye for detail
  • Good length of service and loyalty shown to previous employers
