Onyx-Conseil is seeking an experienced Advanced Visualisation Scientist to join our Data Solutions team. As an Advanced Visualisation Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in conducting research, development, and support roles covering diverse areas such as cloud computing, high-performance computing, algorithm development, artificial intelligence, advanced visualisation, and Exascale technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development in advanced visualisation techniques and technologies.
- Develop and support software applications for data analysis and visualisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate visualisation solutions into existing systems.
- Design and implement data visualisation dashboards and reports.
- Contribute to the development of new visualisation tools and technologies.
- Provide technical support and training to users on visualisation software and tools.
Requirements
- Master's Degree or Doctorate in computational, mathematical, or physical sciences.
- Experience in scientific visualisation background.
- Experience in 3D modelling software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max.
- Artistic and creative skills, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in 3D modelling, texturing, and environment design.
- Experience in computer graphics, including knowledge of rendering techniques, shading languages, and graphics APIs.
- Experience with Python, C++, CUDA, or VTK.
- Experience with visualisation-relevant data formats and proficiency in data conversion.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and their application in computer graphics and computing systems.
- Knowledge of high-performance computing, distributed computing, or cloud-based architectures.
- Familiarity with real-time rendering engines like Nvidia Omniverse, Unreal or Unity Engine.
- Experience with real-time data visualisation in tools like Grafana, Kibana, or other open-source dashboarding tools.
- Experience in developing and utilising digital twins for simulation and analysis of real-world systems and processes.
- Contributions to open-source projects or published research in relevant fields.
