Maintenance Team Leader Job Description

**Job Summary**

A globally recognised high volume manufacturer is seeking a skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join their team in Shropshire. As a key member of the Maintenance department, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance engineers and ensuring the smooth operation of the facility.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide leadership and guidance to the maintenance team to ensure the effective delivery of maintenance services
* Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance engineers to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard
* Develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize production
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives
* Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction

**Requirements**

* Proven experience in a maintenance leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex maintenance issues
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
* Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures, including health and safety regulations
