We are seeking an experienced Executive Culinary Director to lead our kitchen team in the picturesque Lake District. With a focus on delivering exceptional dishes crafted from fresh, locally sourced ingredients, this is an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional to take the reins and shape a dynamic kitchen.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a Head Chef role or as a Senior Sous Chef ready to take the next step. They should be passionate about fresh, seasonal ingredients and delivering high-quality dishes. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a kitchen team, are essential. Additionally, excellent organizational skills and financial acumen, including stock management and GP control, are necessary for success.

As Executive Culinary Director, you will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative, seasonal menus that reflect our venue's ethos and commitment to quality. You will also manage supplier relationships to source the finest local ingredients, train and mentor the team to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish, maintain high levels of cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations, and monitor and manage food costs to ensure profitability while maintaining exceptional standards.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £40,000 + Tronc, making it a competitive offer in the industry. We are looking for a talented and passionate individual who can make a real impact in our kitchen.
