Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEN Specialist to join our team at Busy Bees Day Nursery and Preschool Ipswich Pinewood. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring every individual child's needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND/ASL needs.

About the Role

  • As a SEN Specialist, you will take ownership of the observation, assessments, and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps.
  • You will ensure we encourage and praise children's development and achievements, creating a nurturing and supportive environment that fosters growth and learning.
  • As a keyworker, you will work closely with parents and colleagues to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each child.
  • You will also contribute to the development of our nursery's policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with the latest research and best practices in SEN.
