About the Role

We are seeking an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our team at GLG Vets in Gloucestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing exceptional care to animals.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
  2. Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
  3. Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  4. Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Requirements
  • Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

The estimated salary for this role is up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
