Workshop Manager - Heavy Plant

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Heavy Plant workshop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, controllers, and yard staff to ensure efficient and high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of engineers, controllers, and yard staff to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Liaise with customers to build strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee departmental Health and Safety compliance and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to drive business growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Workshop Manager, Foreman, or Service Manager in the Heavy Plant industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of heavy machinery and mechanical engineering principles.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a team and build customer relationships.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
