Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Groundworker Supervisor to join our team at Reliable Contractors Limited. As a Groundworker Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of groundworks on one of the largest infrastructure projects in the UK, covering major redevelopment and refurbishment works on Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate groundworks teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Monitor and control costs, resources, and labor to optimize project efficiency.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and safety.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Groundworker Supervisor or in a similar role.
  • Full understanding of all aspects of groundworks, including concrete associated works.
  • Good general understanding of remedial works and manual handling.
  • CSCS Blue Card and relevant industry certifications.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
