About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Asia sales consultant to join our team at Travel Trade Recruitment. As a specialist in Asia travel sales, you will be responsible for selling our bespoke tours to clients, producing and pricing itineraries, and generating bookings through various channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Selling Asia travel experiences to clients via email, phone, and in-person interactions
  • Creating and pricing customized itineraries for clients
  • Generating new business through email, phone, and in-person sales efforts
  • Maximizing customer retention and loyalty
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Overseeing the production of documentation for clients
  • Ensuring welcome home packs are delivered to clients prior to their return
  • Following up with clients upon their return to thank them for their business and gather feedback
  • Expanding and developing our Asia travel product offerings
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers and country tourist boards
  • Staying up-to-date on destinations, activities, and hotel information
  • Participating in product and pricing planning processes
  • Possibility of research trips to Asia
  • Active participation in team meetings and company events
Requirements:
  • Passion for and knowledge of Asia destinations
  • Experience in Asia travel sales or a related field (not required but beneficial)
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality results in a timely manner
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The Package:
  • Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Commission
  • 23 days annual leave, increasing one day per full year of service up to 30 days
  • Research trips to Asia approximately every 12-18 months
