Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Progress Coach to join our team at Study Group. As a Progress Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting students to achieve their academic goals and maximize their potential.

About the Role
  • Provide personalized support and guidance to students to help them navigate their academic journey and overcome any challenges they may face.
  • Work closely with students, academic staff, and other support services to ensure that students receive the best possible support and guidance.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support students in achieving their academic goals and progressing to their chosen university courses.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver high-quality support programs and services that meet the needs of our students.
  • Conduct regular progress checks and provide feedback to students on their academic progress and areas for improvement.
  • Work with students to identify and address any barriers to their academic success, such as language or cultural differences.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, academic staff, and other stakeholders to ensure that students receive the best possible support and guidance.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in student support and progression and implement new strategies and initiatives as needed.
About You
  • You will have a Level 4 qualification and experience of providing academic and/or pastoral support to international/ESL students.
  • You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to build strong relationships with students, academic staff, and other stakeholders.
  • You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • You will have experience of using data and reporting systems and be able to analyze data to inform your practice and make decisions.
  • You will be flexible and able to work to tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively.
