Job Description

The successful candidate will have experience delivering high-quality training sessions, as well as using in-game feedback to evaluate and tailor sessions accordingly. The club aims to be competitive in all competitions and win as many games as possible over the course of the season.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and lead training sessions to a group of mixed-ability players with diverse backgrounds and experience of the sport.
  2. Build confidence of returning players and maintain high retention rates.
  3. Introduce novice players to the sport and improve their technical ability.
  4. Demonstrate a patient and encouraging coaching method.
  5. Provide coaching expertise to improve the quality and standard of training.
  6. Be a leader and help increase commitment from the players across the teams.
  7. Be passionate about the sport and building an inclusive and fun environment for players.
  8. Have an understanding of higher education sport.
  9. Focus on improving players' technique to prevent injury.
  10. Work with the club committee to achieve the club's aims and objectives for the year.
  11. Display good coaching conduct in line with the organization's code of conduct.

Requirements:

  • Relevant coaching certification
  • Relevant first aid and insurance documentation
