The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and direction for the charity's financial management, collaborating closely with the Senior Leadership Team and colleagues to ensure the organisation's financial health and sustainability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Holding an accountancy qualification and possessing experience in financial administration, including bank reconciliation, monthly management accounts, and audit preparation.
  • Leading by example, taking a strategic view of all aspects of the charity's work to drive financial efficiency, effectiveness, and viability.
  • Utilizing Xero software finance package and computer databases to inform decision-making.

A competitive salary is offered, commensurate with experience (estimated at £50,000 - £65,000 per annum). The role is full-time, with consideration given to part-time arrangements (0.8-1 FTE).
