Technical Assessor Role

UKAS is seeking a skilled Technical Assessor to join our team. As a Technical Assessor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our assessment process.

About the Role

We are looking for a medical professional or paramedical practitioner with extensive experience in human health care activities. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of hospital activities, evaluating medical and dental practices, and assessing/auditing the activities of paramedical practitioners.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments of hospital activities, including general, specialty, psychiatric, and substance abuse hospitals.
  • Evaluate medical and dental practices, including consultations and treatments by general practitioners, specialists, and surgeons.
  • Assess/audit the activities of paramedical practitioners in various fields such as physiotherapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, and more.
  • Assess/audit the services provided by residential care facilities, including nursing homes, mental health care institutions, and facilities for the elderly and disabled.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Medical professional, paramedical practitioner, or health and social care practitioner.
  • Extensive experience in human health care activities, including hospital and outpatient settings.
  • Excellent observational, analytical, and reporting skills.
