Job Title: Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients with complex needs.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise as a nurse. You will be working in a specialist Level 2 Neurological Rehabilitation and Neurobehavioural service, providing care to adults in York.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with complex needs, including those with acquired brain injury, traumatic brain injury, severe neurological conditions, complex stroke, and spinal cord injury.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct assessments, diagnose, and implement appropriate nursing support plans.
  • Manage a caseload of complex patients, utilizing advanced clinical reasoning skills.
  • Develop, train, and supervise support workers.
