Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team at Woodlands Rehabilitation Service in York. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing specialist Level 2 Neurological Rehabilitation and Neurobehavioural services for adults in York.

Main Duties

As a Staff Nurse, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload of complex patients, utilising advanced clinical reasoning skills to assess, diagnose and implement appropriate nursing support plans.
  • Developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Leading the team on shift and flexibly supporting colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current NMC Pin registration.
  • A legal right to work in the UK.
  • Experience of working in a neurological setting, preferably with a background in managing complex patients.
  • Advanced clinical reasoning skills and the ability to utilise evidence-based practice to inform care decisions.
