We're on the lookout for a skilled Regional Employee Relations Specialist to join our team at Lidl. As a key member of our HR department, you'll play a vital role in shaping our employee relations strategy and ensuring that our policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with the latest employment law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance and coaching on employment law policy to our managers, ensuring that they have the knowledge and skills to deliver good people management practices.
  • Work closely with our Regional Head of HR to develop and implement local measures to mitigate legal and internal non-compliance risks.
  • Support our managers with the administration of employment law-related processes, including disciplinary procedures and grievances.
  • Identify and escalate employment law risks to our Regional Head of HR, ensuring that we're always ahead of the curve.
  • Coach new disciplinary managers on employment law policy and best practice, helping them to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Support the coordination of our CMS programme for employment law, ensuring that our policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant.
  • Provide support to our local HR team on administration of employee relations topics, including employee engagement and communication.
What You'll Need:
  • Significant employee relations experience, advising to middle management and up-to-date labour law knowledge.
  • A legal qualification or CIPD Level 7 (with specialist EL/advanced EL optional units) is desirable.
  • A driving licence is essential, and the ability to regularly travel within your geographic region.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and HR software proficiency.
