We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team at Riverdale Care Home in Braintree, Essex. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our elderly residents with their daily activities, enabling them to live happy and healthy lives.

About the Role

As a key member of our care team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting residents with personal care, such as washing and dressing
  • Developing and implementing individual care plans to meet their unique needs
  • Preparing and serving meals, ensuring they receive a balanced diet
  • Assisting with medication administration, if required
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to residents

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A caring and compassionate approach to supporting vulnerable adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Previous experience working with the elderly, although not essential, as full training is provided

Competitive pay rates start from £19.50 per hour, with enhancements for night shifts and bank holidays. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 5.6 weeks' annual leave (pro rata), workplace pension scheme, and access to the Blue Light Card for discounts on high street and online stores.
