- Process Implementation: Drive the implementation of the new 3DX/PLM system, ensuring that our processes are aligned across global teams and adhere to strict quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in mechanical design, performance, and system reliability.
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with senior leadership to align the team's strategic vision with the company's business goals.
- Product Development: Manage the design and development of products, including mechanical, thermal, environmental, and manufacturing aspects.
- Certification and Compliance: Support product certification under relevant standards and contribute to the design of production line jigs, fixtures, and test stations.
- Education: Degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical and/or Production Engineering.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in product design and development, with expertise in mechanical engineering.
- Skills: Knowledge of implementing document management and change management systems, ideally 3DX/PLM. Previous experience in a leadership role within an engineering team.
- Qualifications: Familiarity with relevant safety standards (e.g., BSEN) and design tools (e.g., FEA, injection molding, stress analysis).
