Director of Assistive Technology

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Assistive Technology to lead our statewide assistive technology program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in program development, management, and marketing, as well as experience in assistive technology service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive assistive technology program that meets the needs of individuals with disabilities in New Hampshire.
  • Manage and oversee the program's budget, staff, and operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including state agencies, organizations, and community groups, to promote the program and its services.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to program staff and stakeholders on assistive technology best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external funding sources to secure grants and contracts.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in assistive technology or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in program development, management, marketing, and assistive technology service delivery.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel throughout New Hampshire, the region, and nationally for meetings and training events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in assistive technology or a related field.
  • Assistive Technology Professional Certification.
  • Lived experience and/or personal connection to disability.
