Job Title: Paraplanner

Antony George Recruitment is seeking a skilled Paraplanner to join our team. As a Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting our Financial Advisers and IFA Administrators in delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze client information, including fact finds, file notes, and risk profile questionnaires, to gain a thorough understanding of client requirements.
  • Compile suitability reports and undertake necessary research and analysis, including fund analysis, product comparison, and charges analysis.
  • Pre-populate client application forms and record, monitor, and report on progress.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant FCA regulations and guidelines, including MiFID II, GDPR, and PRIIPS.
  • Build strong working relationships with Advisers to provide exceptional support in delivering their business strategy.
  • Provide consistent, effective communication to clients, ensuring their instructions and requests are understood.
  • Drive Continual Professional Development by seeking opportunities to upskill and work collaboratively with other team members.
  • Liaise with Partners to update, maintain, and review work in progress and task lists.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in paraplanning.
  • Working knowledge of core financial products, including mortgages, pensions, ISAs, investment accounts, bonds, and protection.
  • Awareness of relevant FCA regulations and guidelines.
  • Efficient, diligent, and disciplined in all tasks undertaken.
  • Great team player with excellent communication and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in investment research tools and analysis, with experience of cash-flow planning tools an advantage.
What We Offer:
  • Basic salary of £40,000 to £50,000 per annum.
  • Pension scheme with 5% employer and 5% employee contributions.
  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays and 3 days between Christmas and New Year.
  • Hybrid working arrangement.
