About The Team:

The Compensation and Benefits team leads compensation programs for Hasbro Inc. Our team is responsible for designing and implementing compensation strategies that support business objectives and attract top talent.

About the Role:

The Director of Compensation Strategy will provide strategic direction for Hasbro Inc.'s compensation programs, aligned with company strategy and positioning the company as an employer of choice. This role leads the global compensation consulting team, providing quality consulting in support of Hasbro Inc.'s mission. The role has three direct reports and requires an experienced leader who can partner with the business to identify new opportunities to continuously improve our compensation impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end compensation projects from initial concept to successful delivery.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to develop compensation programs that support business strategy, align with Hasbro Inc.'s culture, and attract and retain top talent.
  • Lead annual compensation planning processes, including the development of comprehensive communications materials and leader education.
  • Play a key role in driving transformation in our Human Resource Organization.
  • Design and manage effective recognition programs.
  • Lead global communication and education initiatives related to compensation programs, including change management activities.
  • Ensure all compensation activity is delivered in compliance with local employment laws and regulations, Hasbro Inc. Global/Regional Policies and Standards, and Hasbro Inc. Code of Conduct.
  • Manage the Sales Reward Program globally, including full oversight of policy and process, ensuring that the program remains externally competitive and drives business results.
  • Lead, develop, coach, and mentor other members of the Total Rewards Team: Provide guidance on team objectives and provide constructive feedback on performance on an ongoing basis.
  • Lead the team by example: ensuring effective communication, support, and recognition is in place.
  • Identify, recruit, retain, and develop talent.

Requirements:

  • Considerable experience and a consistent track record of leading compensation in a global organization.
  • Deep technical expertise with base-pay, short and long-term incentive programs on a global level.
  • Demonstrable experience in the design and delivery of compensation strategies and policies.
  • Ability to operate in a matrix and global organization, working across cultures.
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and listening skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to make quality decisions in the face of ambiguity.
