Senior QA Test Engineer for Blockchain Solutions

**Job Summary**

The QA Test Engineer will be responsible for developing functional and non-functional test cases to validate the operation of our product suite. The successful candidate will have hands-on manual and automated test engineering experience, understand the challenges of testing platform technologies, demonstrate critical investigative abilities, and be able to work well at all levels of the software testing lifecycle.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Produce detailed test stage plans
  • Develop functional and non-functional test cases within our regression automation framework for testing (CRAFT) and maintain test suites and test cases
  • Execute test cases, document results, update progress, and track bugs
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of manual and automated test scenarios working as part of an agile engineering team
  • Participate in prototyping and experimentation to validate system architecture
  • Partner with internal and external teams in testing, deploying and operating highly scalable blockchain networks
  • Undertake system performance analysis from the ground up to determine operational limits of the system

**Requirements**

  • 4+ years of enterprise test engineering (both manual and automation)
  • Proficiency in Java, Kotlin or another similar programming language
  • Familiar with basic Dev Ops, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker
  • Familiar with tools for API testing i.e Postman, Rest Assured
  • Familiar with tools for UI testing, i.e Selenium, Cypress
  • Familiar with project tracking software such as JIRA and test management systems such as XRAY
  • Broad understanding of computer science and engineering principles
  • Proven track record of delivering test automation for highly complex software systems
  • Experience planning for and executing end-to-end functional and non-functional tests
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Comfortable and able to work under pressure
