About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned QA Automation Engineer to join our development team on a high-profile trading system development project with a leading enterprise client. This project handles millions of dollars in traded value daily.

Please note that this is not a blockchain-based application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain automated test pipelines using Playwright tests
  • Analyze and review product requirements, identifying gaps and inconsistencies
  • Develop automated tests for software validation, ensuring high-quality systems
  • Own quality aspects of the system as part of the QA team
  • Report and manage/triage existing defects, ensuring proper follow-up and actions
  • Promote and adopt QA best practices, contributing to their continuous improvement
  • Contribute to defining test automation guidelines and standards
Requirements
  • At least three years of experience in QA engineering, with a focus on automated testing for web and/or non-web applications
  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with fluency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Git/GitHub
  • Experience with Jest, Playwright, and BDD tools (e.g., Cucumber)
Nice to Have
  • Experience with high-volume, high-availability, high-stakes enterprise systems
  • Experience building and/or testing REST and/or web socket-based APIs
  • Experience with trading applications in production
  • Performance testing experience with K6, Artillery, or similar
