Children's Delivery Manager

At Ealing Council, we strive to create communities where everyone can live a long, happy, and healthy life, full of pride and identity. Our goal is to ensure every family has a decent living income and can afford a genuinely affordable home. To achieve this, we have created an Innovation and Service Development team within Children's Services, and are seeking two Delivery Managers to drive change across our directorate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mobilise and deliver change, with a focus on service improvement, efficiencies and demand management, service design and innovation.
  • Manage key transformation projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring effective governance, quality assurance, and risk management.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the council – including senior officers and elected members – collaborating to find solutions to Children's Service's challenges.

Requirements:

  • Experience of successfully managing change projects, ideally within local government or a similar sector.
  • Sound knowledge of programme and project management methodology.
  • A good understanding of the variety of local government services delivered to children and young people and the current issues and challenges in this area.
