Marketing Manager Job Description

Owen Mumford Ltd is seeking a skilled Marketing Manager to join our Pharmaceutical Services Team. As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote and support our business and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain marketing plans for all products, including those in development and on-market.
  • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to support marketed products and those in pre-launch phase.
  • Manage technical microsites and maintain and expand content in line with customer expectations and feedback.
  • Develop the annual plan for exhibitions and conferences, working with the events and communications manager and external suppliers.
  • Develop the publication strategy for the year, working with the content marketing agency.
  • Develop product messaging and branding for new products and line extensions, ensuring technical details are correct and aligning with corporate communications.
  • Manage joint communications with external partners and ensure consistent communication of joint activities and collaborations.
  • Manage existing external suppliers and agencies, developing and maintaining good working relationships.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a marketing role within the medical device and pharmaceutical industry.
  • Educated to degree level in a life science or business discipline, as a minimum.
  • Additional marketing qualifications desirable.
  • Knowledge of the development process for medical devices.
  • Strategic product marketing with ability to develop and implement plans.
  • Experience managing and working with external marketing agencies.
  • Working knowledge of digital communications, including campaign development and implementation of web, social media, email, and PPC.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally sales experience in pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Experience in working in a role with international responsibility.
