Daniel Owen Ltd is a leading Social Housing Contractor based in the Kent area. We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing individual contractor accounts, preparing regular reports and analysis, and providing commercial insight to ensure financial efficiency.
This role will involve working closely with colleagues and clients to achieve target margins, ensuring contractual processes are observed, and developing positive relationships with stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include preparing and negotiating interim valuations and final accounts, documenting and recording agreement of variations with the supply chain, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements- A minimum of experience in repairs quantity surveying or commercial environments
- Proven track record in social housing or housing maintenance environments (client or contractor side)
- Understanding of NHF and bespoke schedule of rate contracts
- Excellent planning, budgeting, and organizational skills, with ability to keep sound business records
- Strong report writing skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Kent location with a competitive salary of £60,000-£65,000 per annum, plus car package.
