Practice Nurse Specialist

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment, contributing to the development of high-quality practice nursing services.
The ideal candidate will possess current NMC registration and a Fundamentals of Practice Nursing course or equivalent experience/qualifications. They will be responsible for promoting integrated nursing practice, working collaboratively with the health centre team and general practitioners.
Maintaining clinical effectiveness is crucial, as monitoring key quality markers related to guidelines is essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate clinical skills and experience in treatment room consultation, phlebotomy, ECG recording, screening, management of long-term conditions, cervical cytology sampling, vaccinations, and immunizations, dressing, and wound care.
A salary of £38,000 - £48,000 per annum is available, depending on experience, plus benefits including NHS pension scheme, 6 weeks' holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata for part-time), and eye-care vouchers.
