Job Title: Fund Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Fund Accountant to join our dynamic and fast-growing team. As a Fund Accountant, you will play a critical role in servicing the needs of private equity, real estate clients, and associated SPVs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary contact for clients, managing relationships and ensuring regulatory and statutory reporting deadlines are met;
  • Oversee and prepare consolidated financial statements and statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS or UK GAAP, including monthly/quarterly NAVs;
  • Plan deadlines and work allocations, monitor junior team members' work, and coach and develop staff, ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures;
  • Organise the take-on and setup of new clients, lead year-end audits, and implement necessary policies, procedures, and checklists;
  • Provide accounting support, including bank debt covenant reporting, investor tax, CIS, VAT reporting, and compile and analyse financial information underlying financial statements.

Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified;
  • Strong technical accounting skills;
  • Comprehensive understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS and experience preparing statutory financial statements;
  • Strong Excel knowledge;
