About the Job

As a Nurturing Learning Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and wellbeing of our pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Complex Needs.

You will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to develop and implement tailored learning plans, providing one-to-one support and group sessions as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality support to teachers, contributing to lesson planning and delivery
  • To develop and maintain effective relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
  • To contribute to the preparation and planning of lessons, including developing resources and opportunities for young peoples to learn
  • To prepare and deliver lessons, under the direction of the teacher, including covering for teacher absence
  • To share the schools responsibility to support and promote the learning, personal development, safeguarding and well-being of all young people
  • To ensure recording and reporting across the school is completed to a high standard
