Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our team at Selby Jennings. As a Senior Volatility Rates Quant Researcher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing models for macro traded products, designing and delivering real-time PnL and risk calculations, and assisting portfolio managers and analysts in developing custom tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement pricing models for a variety of macro traded products, including interest rate swaps, futures, options, and curve construction methods.
  • Design and deliver real-time PnL and risk calculations for the trading desk, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Assist portfolio managers and analysts in developing custom tools utilizing in-house analytics, such as stochastic modelling and processes.
  • Produce macroeconomic data series for back testing and quantitative analysis, providing valuable insights for investment decisions.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or further study in a relevant field, such as mathematics, computer science, econometrics, or finance.
  • Proficiency in Python and C++ (version C++17 or higher), with experience in C++20 a plus.
  • In-depth product knowledge of fixed income and rates products, including interest rate swaps, futures, options, and curve construction methods.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with stochastic modelling and processes, with a strong understanding of volatility and risk management.
