About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Solution Delivery to lead our IT solution delivery team and drive the design and delivery of innovative software solutions in the construction industry.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects, ensuring agile, scalable, and cost-effective delivery that supports our strategic business objectives.

You will work closely with our PMO to manage team demand and prioritise resources effectively, and utilise strategic partners for project resourcing when necessary.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the IT solution delivery team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring projects are managed according to project management methodology, focusing on quality, risk, and performance.
  • Overseeing the delivery of applications and services in a way that supports both strategic and operational needs.
  • Ensuring a seamless handover from delivery to support teams through service introduction and early-life support.

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in an IT solution delivery role, ideally in a fast-paced, agile organisation.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in resource management, including utilisation and capacity planning.
  • Experience in Project or Programme Management.
  • Knowledge of SaaS-based implementation.
  • Familiarity with IT budgeting, risk management, and vendor management.
  • Experience working within ITIL and/or ISO20000 environments.
