Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pastoral care and support to students in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork and a positive learning environment.
  • Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum, focusing on individual students’ learning targets and encouraging their strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor students’ progress and communicate with parents as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Patience, resilience, and a passion for teaching.
