Chef - Food Safety Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our Catering Team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of patient meals, while maintaining high standards of food hygiene and compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the Catering Food Safety Manual, Trust policies and procedures, and the Food Safety Act and Food Hygiene Regulations.
- Provide assistance and information as required around patient meals and menus, and serve as a point of contact between the catering provision and wards to identify any issues or specific dietary requirements, including allergen information.
- Recognized Catering and support services qualification or evidencable working knowledge and experience of Chef and Catering services.
