We are seeking a dedicated Food Safety Coordinator to enhance our vibrant team at Riverside Bakery.

In this role, your primary focus will be to keep the Management Team updated on their responsibilities and objectives concerning food safety, authenticity, integrity, and compliance. You will also deliver effective administrative assistance to the technical and quality assurance departments at Riverside.

Establishing robust relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members is essential, along with executing tasks that align with quality system standards.

Location and Working Hours: Flexible working hours available.

Salary: Competitive annual salary

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster relationships across various departments
  • Document and address customer feedback promptly
  • Monitor and evaluate online reviews
  • Compile technical data for customer and site performance indicators
  • Prepare reports for retailer performance and site management
  • Oversee document control systems
  • Support audits and assist with new product introductions
  • Undertake additional tasks related to food safety, authenticity, integrity, and quality

Essential Qualifications:

  • Background in food manufacturing
  • Prior experience in technical administration, ideally within retail
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and technical protocols

Preferred Certifications:

  • Food Safety Level 3 certification is advantageous
  • Training in Internal Auditing
  • Familiarity with retailer Codes of Practice and BRC standards
  • Previous experience in the food sector
