Clinical Lead Nurse Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team at a beautiful nursing home in Lowestoft.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated nurse to take on a leadership role, working closely with nurses and carers to maintain the highest standards of clinical care and governance.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring residents receive the best possible care, meeting their needs through excellent nursing and clinical practice. The Clinical Lead Nurse will work in collaboration with the management team to promote positive working relationships within the team.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to make clinical decisions, remain calm under pressure, and train, support, and mentor others.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong clinical skillset and confidence to lead the nursing team.
  • Prior management experience or experience leading a small team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • A good understanding of audits, safeguarding, DOLS, CQC, and compliance.

NMC registration as a qualified nurse with relevant post-registration experience is essential for this role.
